We're testing out a new feature by creating leaflet newsletters. Monthly newsletters were something I (Hyuge) have been considering since the end of last year, as it was suggested to me via a different fandom, but I wasn't sure the best way to implement them. Leaflet allows you to subscribe and get notified when new posts are created, and it even adds a custom feed to your Bluesky.
With that in mind, we may move away from Carrd in the future to just posting event/account details here. We'll see how it goes in the coming months. As far as actual events, the summer has been busy, busy, busy. We're looking forward to things winding down a bit as fall approaches.
For those that didn't know, my main Tumblr account was terminated due to Tumblr's anti-spam AI being bad at its job. I did not have access to Tumblr about three weeks. During this time, the NuCarni Events Tumblr account was also gone. I have taken measures to ensure the account is still up and running even if the terrible AI fails at its job again.
The Advent Calendar had prompt matchup emails sent last week and yesterday was the deadline to confirm participation. Our first check-in for those participating will run from Sept. 21st - 27th. Keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder for the check-in email.
Daster Week is coming up! Participate in Daster Week year three, by shipping all things Aster x Dante from September 23rd - 29th, and don't forget to submit your completed works to be added to our commemorative zine: Bite.
Lore: A Huey Zine just completed its third check-in! Final check-in will take place from September 19th - 25th, with final submission being September 29th, 2025. Keep your eyes peeled for previews from October 5th - 18th, and the official zine release on October 25th, 2025.
Lastly, Yakumo Birthday Week rules and prompts will be posted September 7th. Stay tuned to the account for all the snake boy prompts! Posting will be from December 7th - 13th, 2025.
